From the vast collection of photographs and advertisements of Volvo, a first selection of over 1300 images is now available to the public. The images are dating from 1927 to approximately 2004.

The webshop gives you the possibility to browse and search images and to order high-quality archival giclee prints.

Volvo employees, dealers and affiliate companies can benefit from extended possibilities. In order to make these options visible on the website, these users must first create a User Account with their Volvo domain included. If you are experiencing problems with logging in, please do not hesitate to contact us.

PRINTED IMAGES

When ordering a printed image, you have three choices:

Choice of print media
Paper size
Frame

CHOICE OF PRINTMEDIA

Three media types are available: Semi-gloss photopaper, Hahnemühle Smooth Fine Art paper, Professional Canvas. Other media like Duratrans, vinyl, etc are available on request. The inks and materials are extremely durable and resistant to UV influences and moist.

All four media options have their own characteristics and are therefore suitable for different purposes.

The "Economy" print paper is a heavy bright paper, suitable for all kind of images with an attractive pricing. This paper is only available in two sizes.

Photo paper is primarily used for printing colour photos. Printing on photo paper creates sharp, crisp and very detailed images. Colours are bright and full of contrast, giving the print a fresh look.

Smooth Fine Art paper, a smooth surface watercolour paper by Hahnemühle, is extremely suitable for printing historical images and black/white photographs. This fine paper will give the print a real Art Print look and feel. Colours on this paper are natural and vivid, black and greys are smooth and natural.

Professional Canvas is a heavy classical canvas. Printing on this material creates an extra dimension. This material is classical in look and touch. Colours are intensified on this canvas. The canvas will be stretched on a supporting frame (stretcher). Adding a decorative frame around the canvas is optional.

SIZE

All the possible sizes can be found in the pull-down menu. Since every image has its own aspect ratio that does not necessarily fits the chosen paper size, we will adjust the image to the chosen size. The images will never be cropped or adjusted. Therefore actual print sizes can be slightly different. If you need an exact paper/image size, please contact us. Alternative sizes are available on request. Do not hesitate to ask for advice when in doubt.

FRAMES

Framing the printed images is possible. There is a selection of frames available. Please take in account that there is a longer delivery time for framed prints. For the bigger print sizes, no frames are available in the system, but on special request we can frame these larger sizes for you.

DELIVERY TIMES

SINGLE PRINT or PRINT ON CANVAS: generally shipped within 5 days
FRAMED PRINT: generally shipped within 3-4 weeks

SHIPPING

There are two shipping options available.

UPS, reliable delivery, fully real-time traceable.
Delivery in the European Union within 1-4 days, rest of the world, within 3-9 days
Depending on the destination, the shipping service level will be UPS Standard or UPS Expedited.
Please note: Volvoprints ships FOB,  that means transportation is paid for, but that you will always be responsible for any applicable import duties and taxes. 

Pick up in Amsterdam
You are always welcome to collect your order at the shop of Volvo Prints in Amsterdam.
